Your Role at impact.com:

The Compliance Intern (CI) is responsible for reviewing and assessing the quality and accuracy of credit card and product terms and conditions, ensuring that these comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as guidelines provided by card issuers and brands. 

The CI works closely with the Compliance team to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies in the terms and conditions across publishers’ digital content, such as blog posts, social media posts, and website copy. 

What You'll Do:

  • Review and assess the quality and accuracy of digital content, comparing online content to clear guidelines provided.
  • Identify and correct errors related to credit card and product terms and conditions, as well as special offers, etc.
  • Provide feedback detailing all inconsistencies and errors identified.
  • Assist with other content-related tasks, such as keyword research and content optimization.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Company.

What You Have:

  • BA: Language & Communication Studies or other related qualification
  • Avid reader and appreciation for literature
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when reviewing written text / digital copy
  • Proofreading experience advantageous
  • Experience with website, social media and online navigation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a hybrid working environment, completing tasks and engaging effectively with the team lead / manager
  • Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines - i.e. all tasks to complete are time-sensitive

This is a six month internship. Working hours are determined by the team’s workload, and there is a requirement to work a late shift, starting at 16:00 at least once a week.  This is likely to increase to two days a week, thus flexibility with regards to working hours is essential.

Based on the above, it is important to note that the successful candidate has a secure, quiet space to work from at home, with a stable, fast internet connection being essential, as all content to be verified is published on the internet.
