Why this role is exciting!
As the Senior Manager of Business Development at impact.com, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our platform's reach and revenue potential. In this role, you will be responsible for selling flat-fee and growth packages for driving revenue growth for publishers. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building and managing partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing monetization strategies to achieve business objectives. We are seeking a results-driven professional with experience working closely with both brands and publishers.
What you will be doing:
Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive revenue through flat fee opportunities for brands and publishers.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans for flat-fee campaigns, including pricing models, budget allocation, and performance forecasting.
- Identify, negotiate, and close flat fee partnership deals, aligning with broader business objectives and ROI targets.
Client Outreach and Relationship Management:
- Own the end-to-end execution of paid placement activations—from outreach and contract negotiation to creative approvals and reporting.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with brands and publishers to understand their goals and identify opportunities to maximize their success on the platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering tailored recommendations for strategic paid placements to help clients achieve measurable outcomes.
Revenue Growth:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets by successfully closing deals for paid placement opportunities.
- Offer and sell premium services and solutions that align with publishers' needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities.
Market Research and Insights:
- Stay updated on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive offerings to position Impact’s solutions as the preferred choice.
- Gather and share insights from clients to refine offerings and improve product-market fit.
Proposal Development and Pitching:
- Create compelling sales proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value of paid placement opportunities.
- Conduct persuasive pitches and presentations tailored to the unique needs of brands and publishers.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track sales activities and outcomes using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on progress.
- Analyze campaign performance to identify optimizations, share insights, and refine future strategy.
Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales or a related field.
- Proven track record in brand/publisher business development within the digital media or affiliate marketing industry.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce and project management tools (eg: Asana)

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 + 25% variable compensation plan, per year, plus eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant. This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
