Your Role at impact.com:

Are you a ServiceNow expert who loves solving puzzles and making a real impact? We're looking for a specialist to own, customize, and integrate our core ServiceNow platform. You will be the central point for building solutions that drive productivity for our global teams, collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to connect our entire SaaS ecosystem. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role reporting to our IT Manager in New York City.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Own the ServiceNow Platform: You will be the go-to expert. You'll configure workflows, write vanilla JavaScript (server-side and script includes), and build powerful automations that make our business run smoother.
  • Architect & Execute Integrations: You'll connect ServiceNow to our other business-critical applications, building and troubleshooting integrations using REST APIs and the Integration Hub.
  • Manage the Full Project Lifecycle: You won't just code. You'll run your own projects, from stakeholder meetings and requirements gathering to documentation, UAT, and rollout.
  • Be the Top-Tier Troubleshooter: When complex technical or performance issues arise on the platform, you'll be the one to diagnose and solve them.

 

What You Bring:

  • Deep, hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator, with a strong portfolio of implementations and customizations
  • Expert-level proficiency in vanilla JavaScript (not just frameworks) for scripting within the ServiceNow environment
  • Proven experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, OAuth) and a solid understanding of how to connect disparate SaaS systems
  • Strong project management and documentation skills; you know how to run a meeting, create a clear project plan, and communicate with stakeholders
  • A true "tech enthusiast" mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Competent knowledge of version control systems like Git
  • A technical degree is a plus, but your hands-on experience is what matters most.
