PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact and counsel for key clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a positive client experience rooted in innovation and business impact.
  • Lead strategic discussions with clients to identify opportunities for growth and provide insights that contribute to their success.
  • Provide effective managerial leadership, guiding and inspiring a team of account managers and other professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and empowering team culture that encourages creativity, excellence, and professional development.
  • Take a leadership role in the development of account strategies, providing context, and taking responsibility for scope development and estimating.
  • Balance multiple work streams proficiently and provide strategic direction to diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Mobilize teams based on a common goal or deadline, leveraging client and industry insights to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, creative, and analytics, to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus. Master’s degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated ability to apply extensive client, industry, and communications business knowledge to develop and implement effective strategies with integrated tactical execution.
  • Proven track record of maintaining accountability for activities and deliverables, ensuring they meet objectives and align with overall strategy.
  • Exceptional managerial leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards successful project execution.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and collaborating with team leaders to plan and optimize resource utilization.
  • Expertise in developing, managing, and driving comprehensive programs centered around earned media, influencers, and corporate communications.

Salary: $120,000.00-150,000.00 annually
