Senior Art Director

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead creative output for assigned client (STIHL Inc.) Individuals are responsible for strong conceptual thinking and quality art direction + design while assisting the Creative Director in the creative performance within his or her group
- Create a range of concepts and designs for social together with Senior Copywriter partner to ensure the visual representation supports each concept and is on brand
- Communicate concepts through storyboards, static or animated designs that secure client approval
- Manage hours and expectations while captaining multiple accounts
- Drive the collaborative efforts across disciplines to deliver the best work possible and contribute to the development of best-in-class content
- Prioritize work and resources across projects based on short and long-term needs for the imre consumer creative team
- Apply our empathetic approach to consumer marketing
- Interpret and incorporate client feedback in a timely manner, and work to exceed the client's expectations in delivery
- Play an active role in new business pitches, concepting and developing social content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on organic growth
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- BA in Graphic Design or Fine Arts
- 5-7 years’ experience
- Art direction experience and formal design training with exceptional conceptual and design skills
- Experience working on durable goods or strong willingness to learn
- An overall understanding of social + digital marketing and production
- Comfortable with content creation and editing social content on-site
- A strong understanding of or willingness to learn industry and social platform best practices
- Strong skill set for visual storytelling and the ability to tailor that story across multiple social platforms
- Hands-on knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Premiere and After-Effects
- Exceptional typography skills with a keen attention to detail and version control
- The ability to confidently juggle multiple work streams
