Senior Group Financial Accountant

Dublin, Ireland

The Senior Group Financial Accountant will take ownership of the monthly preparation and consolidation of the Group's financial results, delivering accurate and insightful reporting to senior management. You will play a necessary part in supporting Group Finance's SOx compliance efforts and will also contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts. The Senior Group Financial Accountant will participate in multiple ad hoc projects and provide support to the wider Group Finance team, with a focus on continuous improvement, process efficiency, and collaboration across the business.

 

You will report into the Group Consolidation Manager. This role is based in our Dublin office on a hybrid basis.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the monthly consolidation of the Inizio Group's financial results, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial analysis to support senior management in understanding the Group's performance.

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial controls, including those related to SOx compliance.

  • Be an important contact for internal and external auditors, managing audit queries and coordinating the provision of required information.

  • Help prepare the Group's statutory financial statements (both consolidated and standalone).

  • Work across Finance teams to improve financial and statutory reporting processes.

  • Foster strong relationships across finance teams and other departments to ensure effective communications throughout the reporting cycle.

  • Take a proactive role in identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and reporting practices.

  • Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis, queries, and special projects.

What do you bring to the role?

 
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA), preferably from a top 4 accounting practice background with 3 years PQE.

  • SOx or audit control experience

  • Consolidation experience with experience preparing or auditing management/statutory accounts for a large organisation.

  • The ability to build partnerships across complex organisations.

  • Multiple examples of driving process improvement

  • Excellent IT/financial systems experience. Oracle Fusion, Oracle FCCS/EPM, Workiva experience an advantage.
