Group Financial Accountant

The Opportunity

The Group Financial Accountant will support the monthly preparation of the Group's consolidated financial results and help prepare analysis that helps senior management understand the financial performance of the Group. You will also involve supporting the implementation and maintenance of Group Finance SOx controls. You have the opportunity to assist with a range of ad hoc finance projects and provide support to the wider Group Finance team, with a focus on improving processes and gaining broad exposure to financial reporting in a large group environment.

You will report into the Group Consolidation Manager, based in our Dublin office. It will operate on a Hybrid basis.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly consolidation process of the Inizio Group accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of financial controls across the Group.

  • Help prepare materials and documentation for internal and external audit queries.

  • Contribute to the preparation of the Group's statutory financial statements (consolidated and standalone).

  • Partner with team members to help improve financial and statutory reporting processes.

  • Build relationships with teams across the business to ensure accurate data sharing.

  • Provide general support to the Group Finance team, including assisting with ad hoc financial analysis.

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 1 years PQE, preferably from a big 4 accounting practice background.

  • Consolidation experience is necessary with experience preparing or auditing management/statutory accounts for a large organisation.

  • The ability to build partnerships with colleagues across Inizio.

  • Specific examples of process improvement.

  • Display strong attention to detail and has experience working to tight deadlines.

  • Excellent IT/financial systems experience. Oracle Fusion, Oracle FCCS/EPM, Workiva experience an advantage.
