Our Marketing Ops team is crucial in supporting and driving sales operations, focusing on growth, delivering insights, and measuring performance. About the Role
As the Director-Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in refining and executing our marketing strategies. Your role will involve strategic planning, providing analytical insights, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to optimize our marketing operations. Your work will directly influence our marketing strategies and performance, making your contribution pivotal to our growth and success. This role sits within the Operations Department and is a partner to the Marketing Leadership.
A Day in the Life
- Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution: Lead and execute key marketing initiatives that align with our broader business objectives to drive growth and enhance market penetration. Develop and refine marketing strategies to maximize effectiveness and reach.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a critical link between marketing and other teams, including sales, GTM, and central operations.
- Operations Management: Manage the daily workflow of marketing communications, tracking the progress of content production and ensuring adherence to strategic plans. Use analytics to measure content effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
- Sales Cycle Understanding: Work closely with Revenue Operations to understand the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and identify challenges at various stages. Implement strategies to address these challenges and support sales team effectiveness.
- Program Management: Run and drive various programs, including new product launches, new marketing campaigns, and identifying execution gaps. This involves collaboration with all teams (GTM, sales, central ops) and leadership, ensuring alignment and execution excellence.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Utilize analytics and insights to measure marketing performance across channels and campaigns. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership & Influence: Provide leadership within the Marketing Ops function, influencing the marketing team and broader organizational units to foster a culture of excellence and innovation. Stay ahead of market demands by keeping track of new trends and upcoming marketing opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine marketing processes and tools to improve team productivity and data quality, acting as the custodian of marketing functions.

What You Need
- Experience and Industry Knowledge: 8+ years of experience in marketing or revenue operations, ideally within B2B settings, with a preference for backgrounds in SaaSor tech. Understanding of marketing strategies and sales processes is crucial. Revenue or Sales Operation experience is an advantage..
- Strategic and Analytical Skills: Ability to lead strategic planning and execution, use data to drive decisions, and manage comprehensive marketing programs. Experience with product launches and campaign management is essential.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, capable of producing high-quality content for diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across teams and influence without direct authority.
- Program Management: Experience in managing programs related to new product launches, new marketing campaigns, and identifying and addressing execution gaps.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), along with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a self-starter attitude and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
