Legal at Innovaccer

The legal team at our organization has a range of responsibilities, including analyzing business requirements to ensure legal compliance, managing contracts, identifying and mitigating legal risks, and more. About the Role

The compliance team at our organization is responsible to develop, implement and manage the seven elements of compliance required of US healthcare organizations. This requires proactive efforts like developing policy and training and also responding to any reported concerns. As a member of our collaborative and dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to these efforts and take the next step in your career.

A Day in the Life

  • Manage the compliance log to help facilitate timely resolution of matters, and prepare summary analytic reports about the matters logged
  • Manage the compliance plan to help facilitate the completion of planned tasks
  • Prepare draft reports for regulatory agencies and senior management as requested
  • Perform planned audit and monitoring activities such as exclusions checks, Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”) audits and similar activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
  • Assist with planning and documentation of committee meetings
  • Participate in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees
  • Assist with responding to internal compliance inquiries
  • Serve as the Innovaccer compliance representative in India
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and recommend enhancements to the compliance program. 

 What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, PowerBI or similar tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Preferred experience and skills include
    •  Professional certification in Compliance
    • Experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory role
    • Working knowledge of U.S. healthcare laws, regulations, and standards
