Senior Software Architect
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Architect to join the Engineering team responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, high-volume, scalable, and fault-tolerant health-tech products and solutions. This position is a key member of the Engineering leadership team, mentoring and engaging engineers to deliver innovative products and solutions. The Senior Software Architect directly interacts with internal/external stakeholders and works with the leadership team to help define products, solutions, and architectural roadmap.
A Day in the Life
- Lead and drive Product and Solution Architecture capabilities, standards, and tooling.
- Provide architectural leadership across several interdependent engineering teams, cloud-based products, and solutions.
- Influence and accelerate Product and Solution delivery by contributing to architecture standardization as needed across multiple products—drive system thinking within development teams.
- Be the technical expert, research, evaluate, and implement state-of-the-art technology as applicable to business needs
- Collaborate with product management, platform engineering, customer engineering, and other groups to execute the business vision
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills to communicate architectural and design options, educating engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and customers.
- Build strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitate leadership, attract and retain key talent. Be a talent steward for the engineering organization, and mentor rising leaders.
- Be hands-on and create reference implementations and contribute across the SDLC both from functional and non-functional perspectives
- Participate in troubleshooting customer incidents and production issues
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in furthering our offerings through your understanding of the healthcare tech space.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of directly related experience.
- Expert Knowledge in modern front-end, back-end, and data store technologies
- Experience in designing and implementing AI architectures, with a focus on generative models
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the LLM and Generative AI space
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to accurately communicate complex technical abstractions to business and technical audiences
- Ability to influence peers and management and champion best practices that will encourage and drive adoption

- Experience In the Healthcare domain including healthcare standards.
- Experience architecting and building multi-cloud products and solutions
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Recognition as a leader in the health tech space (Plus)
