QA & Testing Developer - LATAM

As our company continues to expand, we are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our internal team.

 

As a QA & Testing Developer, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing automated and manual test strategies. You’ll help build a robust QA process across our Agile environment and contribute to our shift-left testing culture.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Design and execute manual and automated test plans for web applications built on Python/Django and React.js.
  •  Build end-to-end test scripts using Cypress or Playwright, integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
  •  Perform regression testing, exploratory testing, and performance checks.
  •  Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers in daily standups and sprint reviews.
  •  Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira, and manage test artifacts in Confluence or Notion.
  •  Own and maintain test documentation, including test cases, results, and process updates.
  •  Ensure compatibility across devices, browsers, and environments.
  •  Help monitor error logs, test results, and customer feedback to proactively detect and diagnose issues.
  •  Participate in Agile ceremonies and proactively provide input during grooming and sprint planning.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  •  3+ years of experience in QA automation and manual testing for SaaS or web applications.
  •  Strong experience working with U.S.-based dev teams in a remote Agile environment.
  •  Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or similar test automation frameworks.
  •  Familiarity with Python/Django and React applications and testing strategies for both front-end and API layers.
  •  Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices.
  •  Experience with test case management tools and source control using GitHub.
  •  Exposure to AWS environments for staging/production monitoring and issue replication.
  •  Ability to write detailed and clear test documentation and bug reports.

Nice to Have

  •  Experience testing compliance tools or workflow-driven applications.
  •  Familiarity with Postman, pytest, Selenium, or other automation tools.
  •  Knowledge of CI/CD integration with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools.
