You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to turn each event into a measurable pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning
- Define the annual event calendar aligned to revenue targets and buyer personas.
- Select the right mix of industry conferences, regional roadshows, partner events, and bespoke experiences.
- Build event briefs with positioning, goals, target accounts, and success metrics.
Execution & Logistics
- Own end-to-end project management: venue/vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, run-of-show, staffing, shipping, and on-site oversight.
- Ensure brand consistency across booth design, signage, swag, and digital assets.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and post-event reconciliations.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Product Marketing to craft compelling narratives and demos.
- Work with Sales to drive pre-show outreach, on-site meetings, and post-show follow-up cadences.
- Coordinate with Customer Success to secure client speakers and success stories.
- Work with social media manager to promote the brand presence.
Measurement & Optimization
- Set KPIs (MQLs, SALs, pipeline, influenced revenue) and track performance in Salesforce and marketing-automation platforms.
- Analyze results, surface insights, and continually refine event mix and tactics for higher ROI.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate relationships with industry associations, vendors, media, and partners—especially within the banking and credit-union ecosystem.
- Negotiate premium placement, speaking slots, and co-marketing opportunities.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of field or event-marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Financial-services focus: demonstrable success running conferences and regional events targeting banks or credit unions (or adjacent fintech audiences) a plus.
- Mastery of event tech stack—e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce—and proficiency with virtual/hybrid event formats.
- Proven track record of translating events into pipeline and revenue; data-driven mindset with comfort presenting metrics to executives.
- Stellar vendor-management and negotiation skills; ability to manage multiple projects and budgets concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished on-stage presence a plus.
- Willingness to travel ≈ 25 % (peaks around major conferences).
Nice-to-Have:
- Existing network within credit-union associations (e.g., CUNA, NAFCU) and key trade-show organizers.
- Experience coordinating user conferences or product-launch roadshows.
- Familiarity with webinar production and podcast/live-stream formats.
Compensation
Total compensation is expected to be between $100,000–$130,000, including a performance-based component. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience and location.
