About the Role:

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can bridge deep technical architecture with operational scale. This leader will shape the long-term technology roadmap, institutionalize engineering excellence, and evolve interface.ai’s agentic AI platform as we move from growth to scale. The CTO will be both a strategic partner to the CEO and a hands-on systems thinker, driving technical direction, organizational capability, and product velocity. This role will also be responsible for transitioning long-term architectural ownership and preparing the organization for the next stage of technical innovation and growth.

What You Will Do:

Technology Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and operationalize a multi-year technology roadmap that translates product vision into scalable, compliant, and secure execution.
  • Architect a multi-tenant, extensible AI platform capable of supporting high concurrency, faster deployments, and continuous innovation.
  • Establish clear architectural guardrails, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and regulatory alignment.
  • Build foundations in data governance, observability, and compliance telemetry, enabling proactive risk management and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Product, Security, and Customer Success to align technology evolution with customer value and platform reliability.

Engineering Execution & Delivery Governance

  • Lead a globally distributed engineering and AI organization to deliver with predictability, quality, and velocity.
  • Institutionalize delivery governance frameworks — including milestone tracking, release cadence, postmortem reviews, and SLA adherence.
  • Build a KPI-driven operating model, using data to drive accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Improve deployment agility while maintaining rigor in change management, release validation, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination between Engineering, Product, and GTM teams for faster go-to-market execution.

Platform Reliability, Security & Compliance

  • Embed security, privacy, and reliability by design into every layer of the platform.
  • Maintain alignment with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and FFIEC frameworks through proactive observability and compliance automation.
  • Champion resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning across global deployments.
  • Drive audit readiness and platform reliability metrics as core measures of success.

AI Platform Evolution & Innovation

  • Guide the next phase of AI platform evolution, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and responsible deployment of generative and agentic AI capabilities.
  • Strengthen the feedback loop between R&D and production, accelerating time-to-market while maintaining model safety and governance.
  • Evolve architecture to support multi-agent orchestration, context persistence, and real-time learning across customer environments.

Leadership & Organizational Scale

  • Build and mentor a high-performing leadership bench across engineering, AI, DevOps, and security.
  • Drive cultural alignment around clarity, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish an operating rhythm that balances innovation velocity with delivery consistency and stakeholder transparency.
  • Represent technology to investors, customers, and partners — articulating how platform evolution drives value creation and defensibility.

What You Bring:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience scaling technology organizations through rapid growth — Series B→D transitions, $10M → $100M ARR, and 50 → 200+ team expansions.
  • Deep operational expertise leading global engineering and delivery organizations, including India-based centers of excellence.
  • Proven success implementing process rigor, performance measurement, and delivery governance across multi-product SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to align funding, growth, and talent scaling across investment stages — balancing execution velocity with organizational stability.
  • Strategic understanding of CFI, B2B2C, and Fintech ecosystems, with strong working knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and enterprise scalability dynamics.
  • Track record of navigating inflection points — fundraising, acquisitions, restructures, and platform migrations — while maintaining culture and stakeholder confidence.
  • Board-facing and investor-savvy communicator, capable of translating engineering performance into business impact and investor narratives.
  • Recognized for multi-market scaling and process excellence — having led transformations across U.S. and Indian teams that improved delivery predictability and engineering efficiency.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
