What you'll do:
The Product Content Intern supports Senior Product Content Lead on the Technical Content Solutions team in the development, coordination, and maintenance of product release content. Working alongside experienced content professionals, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to the full product content lifecycle from gathering information from subject matter experts (SMEs) to helping publish polished content across multiple channels. This role offers meaningful experience at the intersection of technical writing, content strategy, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

How you'll make an impact:
- Assist in drafting and editing product release content, including release notes, 'What's New' digests, and internal product update summaries.
- Support the organization and maintenance of the centralized product release content repository, ensuring materials are accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate.
- Help coordinate content readiness for product release cycles by tracking deliverables and flagging gaps.
- Collaborate with team members to extract and synthesize information from subject matter experts (SMEs) into clear, audience-appropriate content.
- Assist with publishing and updating content on internal platforms, the product release site and in-app communications.
- Review and proofread content across formats (blogs, emails, in-app communications) for consistency, clarity, and brand alignment.
- Support content governance efforts by applying established style guidelines and templates.
- Participate in team meetings and cross-functional syncs to gain exposure to stakeholder communication and project coordination.
- Help track and document content metrics or feedback to support continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Marketing, Information Science, or a related field. An equivalent combination of coursework and relevant project experience may be considered.
- Ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately for different audiences.
- Commitment to accuracy in grammar, formatting, and content consistency.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; comfortable asking questions and seeking feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines.
- Interest in learning how software products work and translating technical concepts into accessible language.
- Willingness to work closely with teammates and stakeholders across functions.
- Exposure to Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), content management systems (e.g., Strapi, Heretto), in-app messaging tools (e.g., Pendo), or project tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
How we work:
This role offers an hourly pay range which is anticipated to be the range listed below. The actual pay for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to student's academic program, relevant experience, and location. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work for the duration of the internship and the individual's ability to pass a background check.
