Senior People Business Partner

Our Senior People Business Partner (PBP) works collaboratively with leaders and team members to align people solutions with business objectives as a change agent and a strategic partner for the business. As Senior PBP, you will identify priorities, execute and evaluate people-focused programs, and evaluate effectiveness using data-based decisions. The Senior PBP is expected to bring forth innovative ideas and solutions to retain top talent and move the business forward at the team and broader level.
The work you will do:
- Partner with leaders and provide guidance in the following areas: career planning, performance management, change management, employee relations, recognition programs, as well as leading and supporting on any strategic initiatives that have a people/org component.
- Quickly and effectively forms and fosters relationships at all levels in order to understand cultural intricacies, team performance/productivity and engagement and retention-related needs.
- Collaborates and leads development of strategic People programs that will engage, develop, and retain employees while driving business results forward.
- Identify, escalate, and navigate employee relations issues with an empathetic, objective, solution-oriented approach with autonomy and in adherence to all laws and regulations.
- Integrate and partner with the People team in Compensation & Benefits, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition to implement solutions, and manage annual programs like compensation and performance management.
- Assess organizational performance, defining talent gaps and proposing solutions – partners closely with managers on performance improvement / growth / training plans.
The skills and qualifications you need:
- A minimum of 3-5 years as a business partner or similar.
- Ability to quickly form relationships at all levels of the organization to drive change.
- Ability to create, implement and evaluate People related projects and programming with autonomy.
