You'll shape and drive the company’s narrative and external communication strategy, working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to craft compelling stories that resonate with the developer audience.

Inworld is breaking new ground in a product category without a playbook. It's an environment where ambiguity is the norm, and we value individuals who thrive in uncertainty. You'll be in a constant cycle of experimentation, learning, and growth.

What you’ll do

Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to understand technical nuances and translate them into engaging stories for the developer audience, positioning us as an industry authority.
  • Planning & messaging: Build, refine, and own a comprehensive PR plan aligning with our strategy, product/technical roadmap and growth objectives. Develop clear, differentiated messaging frameworks that articulate our unique positioning.
  • Communications: Handle product communications, social media strategy, and media relations, ensuring consistent and positive messaging across all platforms while effectively managing brand reputation and audience engagement.
  • Media relations and outreach: Cultivate and manage relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers. Proactively pitch stories, product launches, announcements, partnerships, and milestones to the media to maximize coverage that elevates our brand.
  • Content: Create engaging PR content, including press releases, media kits, bylined articles, etc.
  • Events & community engagement: Plan and execute events, conferences, webinars, and panels. Expand visibility and amplify key messages in relevant industry communities.
  • Monitoring: Monitor media coverage, industry trends, the competitive landscape and public sentiment on AI to identify opportunities for PR initiatives.
  • Analytics: Track and report on social media and content performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in tech public relations, with a focus on AI & ML.
  • Proven track record of successful media relations and securing high-profile media coverage.
  • Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the AI & ML landscape. Comfortable with technical terminology and ability to simplify and explain it to relevant media or stakeholders,
  • Experience building and scaling PR at a start-up or fast-growing product from the ground up.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
