MLJ is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Great Neck, Long Island. The Project Engineer will assist with pursuits, the majority being Design-Build.
                                                                    

II.  EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 30-hour OSHA and SST certificates are preferred.                                                                             

III.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategies for project pursuits, ensuring alignment with scope and objectives.
  • Analyze project requirements to create rough schedules and define work sequences.
  • Write technical portions of RFQ’s and RFP’s.
  • Apply knowledge of the industry to optimize project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with the team to strategize effective approaches for achieving project goals.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.  

IV.  QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION

  • 8+ years experience in public works/infrastructure. Including at least 3 years on Design-Build projects.
  • Experience working with Designers is a plus. 
  • DBIA certification is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent writing skills required 

 

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $150,000 USD
