itD is seeking a Client Partner to drive long-term value and growth across strategic enterprise accounts by managing client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence, and identifying expansion opportunities. 

 

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Client Partner is responsible for managing and growing strategic enterprise relationships following initial account acquisition. This role focuses on account stewardship, delivery alignment, and expansion within existing clients, ensuring long-term partnership health and continued revenue growth.

Client Partners operate as trusted advisors to enterprise clients, maintaining strong relationships with business and technology leaders while identifying opportunities to expand itD’s consulting and technology capabilities across the organization.

Working closely with Global Account Directors, Practice Leaders, and Delivery teams, the Client Partner ensures that engagements are delivered successfully while uncovering new opportunities aligned to client priorities.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments, balancing relationship leadership, operational oversight, and strategic account growth

 

Responsibilities

Account Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary relationship lead for assigned enterprise clients
• Build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders across client organizations
• Maintain strong visibility into client priorities, initiatives, and organizational dynamics.

Account Growth and Expansion

  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing client accounts
    • Partner with Global Account Directors and Practice Leaders to shape and position new engagements
    • Expand relationships across additional business units and leadership stakeholders

Delivery Alignment and Client Success

  • Partner with delivery leadership to ensure successful execution of consulting engagements
    • Monitor client satisfaction, engagement performance, and overall account health
    • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, or delivery challenges

Strategic Account Planning

  • Maintain clear visibility into account revenue, margin performance, and growth opportunities
    • Facilitate regular client check-ins, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions
    • Support long-term account strategy development alongside Global Account Directors

Account Performance Stewardship

  • Maintain clear visibility into account revenue, profitability, and overall engagement health
    • Partner with Practice Leaders and Delivery teams to ensure engagements are delivered efficiently and align with established margin targets
    • Identify opportunities to transition accounts toward higher-value consulting and strategic initiatives
    • Monitor account performance indicators and proactively address risks related to delivery, utilization, or scope alignment
    • Ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of each client relationship

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Practice Leaders to introduce new capabilities and solutions aligned to client initiatives
    • Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure strong alignment between client needs and consulting strategy
    • Collaborate with Strategic Partnerships where ecosystem opportunities support client outcomes

Enterprise Buying Environment

Client Partners operate in complex enterprise environments where initiatives are often driven by multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.

Successful Client Partners build relationships across roles such as:

  • Technology and engineering leadership
    • Digital product and customer experience teams
    • Program management and transformation offices
    • Data, analytics, and platform teams
    • Operations and finance leaders responsible for program execution

The Client Partner must understand how initiatives move across these functions and ensure itD’s solutions continue to support evolving client priorities.

Internal Responsibilities

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise account management, consulting, or client services
  • Proven ability to manage and grow complex enterprise relationships
  • Experience working within consulting, professional services, or technology organizations
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders within large enterprise environments
  • Experience collaborating with delivery teams and consulting practices
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience supporting consulting-led transformation programs
  • Background in enterprise technology initiatives such as digital transformation, data platforms, or cybersecurity
  • Experience working with large enterprise or Fortune 500 organizations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
