Human Resource Manager (6124)
itD is seeking an Human Resource Manager to lead and execute complex employee relations investigations and provide strategic guidance that supports a fair, respectful, and compliant workplace. This role plays a critical part in driving organizational integrity by ensuring consistent application of policies, resolving workplace concerns, and advising leadership on sensitive employment matters. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in employee relations investigations, stakeholder advisory, and HR strategy, along with a proven track record of managing high-volume casework and delivering timely, well-reasoned outcomes.
Location: Onsite - RTP, NC
Duration: 10 months

Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct complex employee relations investigations, ensuring fair, thorough, and timely resolution aligned with company policies.
- Manage end-to-end casework, including documentation, communication with stakeholders, and closure of investigations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case records, documenting findings and recommended actions.
- Advise managers, People Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders on employee relations matters and policy interpretation.
- Provide coaching and counseling to employees and leadership on sensitive and complex workplace issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and business partners, to address multifaceted employment matters.
- Deliver presentations and contribute to the development and improvement of employee relations programs and training initiatives.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations, with at least 3 years focused on investigations.
- Experience managing employee relations casework in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- 2+ years of experience working within a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations practices, investigations, and policy interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to advise stakeholders and influence decision-making across multiple levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience delivering presentations or training sessions.
- Familiarity with HR case management systems such as HR Acuity.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining a strong employee advocacy focus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
