About the Position

The Director, Solutions Sales Distribution and Fulfillment is a senior, consultative sales role focused on driving new revenue through warehouse, fulfillment, and omnichannel solutions for mid-market shippers. This role is designed for a seller who excels at uncovering operational challenges, aligning fulfillment strategy to business goals, and selling multiyear, high value solutions.

While Distribution and Fulfillment is the primary focus, this role offers access to ITS’s broader portfolio of transportation services, including Parcel, LTL, OTR, Drayage, and Managed Solutions, allowing you to bring a more holistic supply chain solution to the customer when appropriate.

This is a hunter role with a solutions mindset, ideal for someone who thrives in complex sales cycles, values relationship depth, and wants to build durable, expandable accounts.

Key Responsibilities

· Own new business development for Distribution & Fulfillment solutions.

· Prospect, qualify, and close complex warehouse and fulfillment opportunities, including omnichannel, B2B, B2C, retail compliance, and value-added services.

· Lead strategic discovery conversations to understand inventory profiles, order flow, network design, service expectations, and cost drivers.

· Partner with Solutions Engineering, Operations, and Pricing to design scalable, executable fulfillment solutions.

· Present and defend solutions with confidence, positioning ITS as a long-term supply chain partner—not a transactional provider.

· Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.

· Leverage access to ITS’s transportation portfolio to support broader supply chain conversations and cross-sell where it strengthens the solution.

· Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, consultants, and industry relationships.

· Use HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking.

· Collaborate closely with Marketing to support targeted campaigns, content topics, and outbound outreach efforts that drive awareness, demand, and pipeline for Distribution and Fulfillment solutions.

· Develop long-term customer relationships that drive expansion, retention, and multi-solution adoption.

Qualifications

· 3-5+ years of experience selling Distribution, Fulfillment, or engineered 3PL solutions.

· Demonstrated success selling complex, multi-year solutions to mid-market customers.

· Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate operational challenges into executable solutions.

· Experience collaborating cross-functionally with solutions engineering and operations teams.

· Comfort navigating longer sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

· Working knowledge of transportation modes (LTL, OTR, Drayage) as part of an integrated solution approach.

· CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred).

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

· Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a growth-oriented environment.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
