Position Overview

Join K18, a rapidly growing brand within the Unilever Prestige portfolio, as we redefine connection and community in the haircare industry. We are seeking an impact-driven and innovative leader to oversee our global consumer engagement strategy, with a core focus on social media community marketing and influencer campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and overseeing a passionate team, this is a highly visible at the forefront of major organizational focus, requiring a professional who is eager to push boundaries, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional sales growth.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and execute a compelling, data-informed global consumer engagement strategy that solidifies K18's position as a cultural leader in haircare and drives significant business growth.
  • Innovate and lead the overall consumer journey, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand experience across all touchpoints (online, social, in-store, events).
  • Balance creativity with performance, ensuring all content and campaigns serve both brand-building and conversion objectives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging platforms to continuously evolve our strategy and maintain competitive advantage.

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Architect and manage the global social media strategy, overseeing editorial calendars, content development, and platform-specific initiatives.
  • Drive authentic community engagement, fostering a vibrant two-way conversation between K18 and its highly engaged audience of professionals and consumers.
  • Develop and execute high-impact organic social campaigns in close collaboration with Creative, Education, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage consumer insights and analytics to optimize social media performance and inform future content strategies.

Influencer & Artistry Relations

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of global influencer marketing and artistry relations programs to achieve brand growth and business goals within budget.
  • Identify, onboard, and cultivate relationships with a diverse range of influencers (from micro to mega), artists, and brand ambassadors, building innovative partnerships.
  • Scale our ambassador program in partnership with the education team to maximize relationships, content creation, traffic, and conversions.
  • Oversee ongoing gifting efforts and manage all aspects of vendor and partner relationships, including talent agencies and production.
  • Measure and report on influencer program performance and KPIs, providing ongoing insights, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Integrated Campaign Management

  • Partner closely with the Creative team to generate first-to-market campaign ideas and compelling content, ensuring clear and timely briefs.
  • Help ideate and lead experiential activations that delight the customer and generate significant buzz and excitement around the brand.
  • Manage social campaign budgets, ensuring optimal resource planning and allocation throughout the year.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of passionate storytellers, campaign managers, and community builders.
  • Foster a collaborative and inspiring team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to support team growth and professional development.
  • Effectively manage and allocate team resources to maximize impact and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in driving consumer engagement and building brand loyalty.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in consumer-facing marketing roles, specifically within influencer relations, social media marketing, and community building.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in people management, leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Deep expertise in 360 marketing planning and integrated marketing programming, with a strong emphasis on digital and social-first strategies and a clear history of achieving measurable results.
  • Proven experience driving creative campaign development and content creation within the beauty industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have partnered with professional hair stylists, makeup artists, or aestheticians.
  • Global mindset with significant experience in international markets, understanding how to adapt strategies for diverse cultural contexts.
  • Proficiency with leading influencer software platforms (e.g., Tribe Dynamics) and social media management tools to optimize performance and insights.
  • Demonstrated success in growing, scaling, and nurturing vibrant digital communities.
