Overview
You’ll be joining the Data Strategy and Analytics team. The team combines deep analytics expertise with strong marketing savvy to deliver insights and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and external global clients. We’re a team that is highly integrated with our clients, and have end to end responsibility of marketing analytics & technologies, from the maintenance of the data infrastructure, to live marketing monitoring, to insights generation, to marketing technology implementation and strategic marketing recommendations.
Role Overview
As a Data Strategy & Analytics Associate Director, you will be a key leader within the team. Reporting into the department lead, the Associate Director oversees all client analytics work, from designing advanced analytics frameworks and crafting data-driven strategies to building and managing a high-performing team. You will serve as a key partner to Activation and leadership teams, ensuring analytics capabilities are deeply integrated with business objectives and growth. You will also lead and mentor Managers on the team who will report into you, overseeing their projects and career development to build a strong, skilled, and effective analytics function.
About the Role
Here’s what we’d like you to do:
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior clients and internal leadership, identifying long-term business opportunities and defining the analytics roadmap to achieve them.
- Build strong client relationships, anticipating needs that support their primary focus areas
- Lead data storytelling efforts, interpreting marketing performance data and crafting a holistic and succinct cross-channel performance story with actionable insights across the various digital channels and devices (Display, Video, Social, Search, Audio, OOH etc)
- Direct the implementation of advanced measurement frameworks, ensuring the team delivers innovative and best-in-class solutions for marketing measurement and experimentation.
- Define the strategic adoption of marketing technologies, including data clean rooms, CDPs, and MMM, ensuring effective and integrated use across client portfolios.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with media, creative, and external agency partners to ensure a cohesive and forward-thinking approach to data, analytics, and technology.
- Build relationships with key media partners and technology vendors (e.g. Google, Meta, Amazon) to deliver best in class service and opportunities for our clients
- Train and coach a team of Managers and Analysts, fostering their development and growth in areas such as advanced analytics, strategic planning, and client communication.
- Work with the other Directors to brainstorm and implement wider company and client focused initiatives
Desired Experience and Skills
- 6+ years of experience working in analytics in a marketing agency/in-house marketing team, across the following digital channels: programmatic display, video, paid search and paid social.
- A strategic and analytical mindset with deep expertise in digital marketing technologies, data analysis, and advanced analytics methodologies.
- Strong quantitative skills, with expertise in using MS Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis purposes
- A proven track record of thought leadership in the digital media and advertising technology landscape.
- Hands-on experience in advanced analytics methodologies, including but not limited to statistical modeling, attribution, and forecasting. You must have a strong track record of designing and implementing comprehensive measurement frameworks and testing strategies to validate marketing performance and drive continuous optimisation.
- Deep expertise in marketing technology and data infrastructure. You should have a strong understanding of the ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystem and how to leverage it to achieve business objectives.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with extensive experience in creating and presenting data-driven storytelling insights to senior stakeholders
- Excellent client service approach and ability to multitask with great attention to detail
- Enjoyment when working as part of a team
- You will have proven experience in coaching and line managing a team, including conducting performance reviews, setting clear objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is highly desirable.

- Bonus: This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus of 5%, based on company performance
