THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to develop and execute community engagement and social media campaigns for KRAFTON’s game titles across Western markets. The Community Manager will focus on building and managing online communities, increasing brand awareness, and driving meaningful engagement. The Community Manager will report to the North American Community & Social Lead to support the West Publishing Services department.
This position is a hybrid role out of El Segundo, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Community Engagement & Growth: Create and implement innovative social media and community engagement initiatives, campaigns, and plans to increase community participation and advocacy.
- Player Communication: Foster and manage communities across multiple titles by interacting with players, responding to inquiries, and addressing feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and optimize data-driven social media strategies to increase engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth; Monitor trends, analytics, and insights
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the bridge between the community and internal teams, providing valuable insights and feedback from the community to Publishing Divisions; advocate for community needs by effectively engaging stakeholders.
- Sentiment and Feedback Analysis: Monitor and collect quantitative and qualitative community feedback to create sentiment reports.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social media and community engagement.
- Crisis Management & Problem-Solving: Respond swiftly to crises or sensitive issues on community platforms, collaborating with stakeholders when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in games industry
- Proven track record in developing and fostering game communities
- Deep understanding of community and social media platforms, such as Discord and Reddit
- Ability to proactively create plans with a strategic mindset
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for video games and entertainment industries
BONUS:
- Written proficiency in another language other than English is a plus
