Senior Product Manager – Publishing

Summary/Overview:

KBRA Holdings is seeking a Director, to join our Product & Solutions Management team. You will actively lead and contribute to the build out and enhancement of Publishing Platform which models and disseminates KBRA Publications for consumption on KBRA.com or directly to our clients.

About the Job

As a Director, you will be responsible for evolving the innerworkings of the KBRA Publications Platform for its existing processes and workflows.  The role is both strategic and tactical, requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and product knowledge. You will be relied upon to perform in-depth analysis of the current state, to advance the team towards operational and firmwide efficiencies in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly engage with stakeholders throughout the company and gain buy-in to ensure that we are maximizing the value being delivered
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative metrics in your decision making, combining data with your contextual understanding of our business, market, and users to measure progress towards our objectives.
  • Strategize integrations with other teams and products to create a unified platform for internal stakeholders
  • Own the process of managing the product, defining priorities, and looking for incremental improvements that blend into future forward considerations.
  • Create and maintain an outcome driven product roadmap which clearly communicates the milestones and releases which will help us reach our objectives
  • Manage an organized, refined, and prioritized product backlog which drives the overall success of the solution being developed

About You

You are an enthusiastic and passionate individual, with an ability to look evolve a concept past the immediate needs of our users.  You are a detail-oriented problem solver who finds multiple paths forward by initiating thorough analysis and pulling information from the resources around you. You are comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to build consensus around an idea.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced graduate degree/certifications are preferred.
  • Ten (10) or more years of work experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in the fin tech industry.
  • Proficiency in product management and road mapping tools such as JIRA, Rally, Asana, Trell, etc.
  • Practical experience with Eidos SWING, Rest APIs, FIGMA, MSSQL, and MongoDB is helpful.
  • Experience collaborating with non-technical and technical partners can communicate accordingly.
  • Skilled at summarizing large amounts of data in a clear and concise manner by means of a multitude of ways: digitally, orally and in writing.
  • Possess a proven track record of delivering solutions with the consideration of users’ desires and iterative evolution towards them.
  • Ability to establish confidence in you and your team’s ability to consistently deliver incremental improvements.
  • Develop a vision that elevates the ideas of users and management to produce understood value that others can rally around.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are essential. Ability to adapt communication to audience – that will range from senior management, key stakeholders in analytical groups, to technical specialists in the team.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; experience working and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and being flexible to utilize what works best with your team.

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $145,000 to $175,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
