Summary/Overview:
KBRA Holdings, LLC and its global affiliates (“KBRA”) are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal and compliance departments. This role focuses on optimizing processes, sourcing and implementing technology solutions, and improving overall workflow to help the legal and compliance teams operate at peak performance. You will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and be a strategic thinker who excels in project management, technology implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Job Requirements:
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine workflows and processes to streamline legal and compliance operations and enhance team efficiency.
- Technology & Tools Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage legal technology solutions, including contract lifecycle management (CLM), e-billing, regulatory compliance solutions, sanctions, and other legal and compliance tech platforms.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate legal and compliance projects, monitoring for timely execution and consistent with business objectives.
- Vendor & Outside Counsel Management: Oversee relationships with external legal service providers, managing efficient engagement and optimal use of resources.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain KBRA’s centralized legal knowledge base, centralize compliance knowledge base and enhance both the legal and compliance knowledge base systems, allowing for accessibility to legal and compliance resources, templates, and best practices.
- Compliance & Risk Management Support: Assist in compliance initiatives, regulatory reporting, and risk assessments to enable more effective legal and compliance teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as Finance, HR, Technology, and others to synchronize legal and compliance operations with broader business goals.
- Training & Development: Organize and facilitate training sessions on legal and compliance processes, policies, and tools for the legal and compliance teams and key stakeholders.
- Data & Metrics: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of legal and compliance operations and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certification in legal operations, business administration, or related field is a plus.
- 3-5+ years of experience in legal operations, compliance operations, project management, or a related role within a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal technology solutions, contract management systems, and workflow automation tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives to completion.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in change management and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 to $130,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
