Summary:

KBRA is seeking a Multimedia Production Specialist to lead the strategy and execution of high-quality video and podcast content that supports our thought leadership, marketing initiatives, research distribution, and corporate communications efforts.

This role will be responsible for producing brand-aligned audiovisual content that translates complex credit, macroeconomic, and financial topics into clear, engaging narratives for institutional audiences. Serving as the firm’s internal expert on video and podcast production, the position partners with senior leadership, subject matter experts, and marketing stakeholders to manage projects from concept to final cut, with strong storytelling instincts and production workflow oversight.

Working closely with Marketing Strategists, this role will elevate KBRA’s multimedia presence and expand distribution of research, insights, and thought leadership across modern digital formats.

The candidate is required to work in the office Tuesday–Thursday, with additional in-office time as needed to support production activities.

About the Job:

Video Production and Executive Content:

  • Lead end-to-end video production including concept development, scripting support, filming, editing, and final delivery.
  • Produce executive interviews, research commentary, market outlook discussions, conference coverage, and firm-level messaging.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to distill complex credit and macroeconomic insights into accessible, engaging audiovisual content.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, regulatory considerations, and corporate communications protocols.
  • Manage post-production workflows: sound mixing, audio level, graphic overlays, captioning, accessibility compliance, and final exports adhering to platform-specific requirements.

Podcast Production and Strategy:

  • Own production of KBRA’s podcast programming, including:
    • Show development and format evolution
    • Guest coordination (internal analysts and external market participants)
    • Recording, editing, mixing, and mastering
    • Publishing and distribution across podcast platforms
  • Develop repeatable production workflows and editorial cadence aligned with KBRA’s research calendar and marketing priorities.
  • Monitor audience engagement metrics and recommend refinements to optimize reach and impact.

Strategic Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Executive staff, Marketing, Business Development, and Research teams.
  • Work directly with executives and senior stakeholders to prepare them for on-camera and audio appearances.
  • Contribute to campaign planning discussions to ensure multimedia amplification is integrated into broader go-to-market initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on the best multimedia practices across departments.
  • Stay current on evolving digital video and podcast trends within financial services and B2B thought leadership environments.

Technical Ownership and Operational Excellence:

  • Serve as the firm’s technical lead for video and podcast production tools and workflows, including:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe Audition
    • After Effects (in collaboration with design team)
    • Professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Maintain production standards that reflect KBRA’s reputation for credibility, professionalism, and analytical rigor.
  • Manage external vendors, freelancers, and studio resources as needed.
  • Maintain organized digital asset management systems for efficient reuse and archiving.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio/video equipment.

You will be successful in this role if you possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in media production, with a strong portfolio.
  • Strong technical expertise in video editing and audio post-production (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition).
  • Experience filming on location and operating video production equipment, with an understanding of lighting, audio capture, and basic production best practices.
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven effectiveness in engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with lighting, camera setups, and remote recording tools (e.g., Megaphone, Zoom) preferred.
  • Experience in a corporate or B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services, credit markets, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with compliance review workflows in corporate communications environments.

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $160,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
