Sr. Project Manager, Framework & Process
The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Sr. Project Manager, Framework & Process:
The Sr. Project Management Framework & Process is a key member of the Planning and Programs Team, reporting to the Head of Project Management. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining processes that facilitate better project management at LA28. They will drive change management initiatives and enhance project management capabilities by creating and facilitating trainings. The Sr. Project Manager, Framework & Process will also be instrumental in resolving project management and process-related issues in a rapidly scaling company.

In the context of a temporary Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee, this role must balance structured process discipline with the flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs, creative inputs, and unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development: Design and implement efficient processes that support the company's rapid growth and scalability
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes across the organization
- Training Programs: Develop, deliver, and refresh training programs to enhance project management capabilities within the team.
- Problem Solving: Act as the go-to expert for resolving process-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Governance and Assurance: Maintain and continuously improve standards for governance frameworks, including forums, project teams, and working groups
- Efficiency Creation: Drive organization-wide efficiency improvements, ensuring streamlined operations and optimal resource utilization
Background & Qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience in project management or process improvement, with experience in process development and change management
- Proven experience in leading change management initiatives in a fast-paced scaling environment
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering training programs for project management
Position Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- Ongoing professional development, certification, or training in program and project management, change management

- Ability to work On-site in an office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment

The annual base salary range for this position is $$115,000 - $130,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.
