We are guided by the following set of values and behaviors–optimism, integrity, excellence, inclusion, co-creation and boldness–and look forward to hearing about how your past experiences align with them.  Associate - Brand Design Milestones  The Brand Design team at LA28 is responsible for shaping and maintaining the visual identity of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our work defines how the Games are seen and remembered through a variable emblem system, typography, color palette, imagery, patterns, and more, creating a brand experience that is bold, distinctive, and timeless.  In addition to stewarding the visual identity, the Brand Design team leads the development of key Games Milestones: the designs that bring the Games to life on the world stage. From medals, torches, mascots, podiums, and venue signage to logos, pictograms, and core graphic systems, our work ensures that the look and feel of the Games is consistent and innovative.  We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Associate Brand Designer to support these milestone projects. This role is designed to challenge and stretch the right candidate, offering the opportunity to contribute to some of the most visible and celebrated elements of the Games.  The ideal candidate is a multi-skilled, agile designer who can work across mediums with creativity and precision. They will bring strong design fundamentals, thoughtful problem-solving, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities. Beyond craft, they should be highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.  This role reports to the Sr Manager Brand Design.  Key Responsibilities: Contributing to the design and development of milestone projects Supporting the execution of the LA28 visual identity across a wide range of applications and formats  Collaborating closely with the Sr. Manager of Brand Design, the broader Brand Design team, and cross-functional partners across Marketing and the organization  Bringing creative energy and fresh ideas while maintaining alignment with brand standards  Determining voice and messaging for key games design deliverables  Developing illustrations, logos, and other graphics  Advising on best practices and optimizations throughout design projects  Implementing feedback and changes when appropriate  QA designs for errors   Pulling together elements that bring ideas and presentations to life: helping to prepare materials, presentations, mood boards, layouts, and content  Collaborating with internal teams who will guide your work and invest in your growth and development as a designer, from art direction and research to iterating and production  Conveying ideas, concepts, and thinking with clarity  Actively inspiring and contributing to our brand culture Background & Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of in-house or agency experience Strong logo design experience and example work  Strong layout and typography experience  Experience producing printed and digital deliverables   Time management, organizational skills, and strong attention to detail  File and asset management skills  Position Requirements: Physical Requirements and Working Conditions   Ability to work on-site in an open office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment   Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods  Join us in shaping the visual identity of LA28 and ensuring its global consistency! 🎨🏅  Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, design or a related field (preferred) or equivalent working experience   Expectations: Strong design portfolio with well-presented current work that showcases your understanding of visual design through a marketing lens Unique examples of conceptual thinking in storytelling, illustration and design  Demonstrated ability to integrate design elements into a larger idea   Ability to work collaboratively and independently with equal strength   Exceptional creativity and innovation   Strong illustration technique and skills  Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, PPT, Figma and an interest in up-and-coming design tools   A portfolio submission is required.   Submission Requirements: Resume Portfolio   The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. This role works in close collaboration with the Finance team to ensure that all Games stakeholders receive the technology products and services they require across all venues.  The Manager, Technology Rate Card will lead the development of the technology-specific catalogue, manage stakeholder engagement, oversee fulfillment and logistics, and ensure seamless integration with the broader Rate Card and Technology programs.  Key Responsibilities: Catalog Development and Pricing  Define and maintain the Technology Rate Card catalog, including IT hardware, AV systems, connectivity, and venue-based services   Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams to establish pricing, service levels, and ordering workflows  Ensure catalog aligns with LA28’s sustainability, accessibility, and legacy goals  Stakeholder Engagement and Sales Enablement   Serve as the primary point of contact for technology rate card inquiries   Facilitate the sales process, ensuring transparency and compliance with pricing and service terms  Operational Fulfillment   Oversee the fulfillment of technology rate card orders across all Olympic & Paralympic venues, ensuring timely delivery, installation, and testing   Coordinate with Venue Technology Managers, Logistics, and suppliers to ensure readiness and issue resolution   Manage inventory tracking, order lifecycle, and post-Games return processes  Platform and Systems Management  Support the development and launch of the Rate Card portal  Team Leadership   Recruit, train, and manage a team of Rate Card staff and volunteers during the Games period   Provide leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction  Reporting and Analytics   Monitor sales performance, inventory utilization, and revenue against forecast   Produce regular reports for senior leadership and contribute to post-Games de-briefs and legacy planning  Risk Management and Integration   Maintain risk registers and contingency plans for rate card operations   Ensure alignment with the broader Technology Master Plan and interdependencies  Stakeholder Collaboration   Work closely with the Head of Rate Card Program (Finance), Procurement, Technology, Logistics, OBS, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technology services into the overall Rate Card Program  Background & Qualifications: 5+ years in technology operations, procurement, or rate card management in large-scale events   Experience with e-commerce platforms, inventory systems, and stakeholder engagement   Proven ability to manage complex logistics and service delivery across multiple venues   Experience in Olympic Games or other mega sports events is highly desirable · Strong stakeholder management and communication skills   Data-driven approach to performance monitoring and continuous improvement   Position Requirements: Physical Requirements and Working Conditions  Ability to work on-site in an open office environment based in Los Angeles, CA  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment during test events and Games-time   Frequent travel to venue sites for inspections, testing, and live operations Flexibility to work hybrid, with extended and shift-based hours during event periods Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Operations, or related field   Certifications in project management, logistics, or IT service delivery preferred  Expectations: Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a complex, fast paced, and evolving environment   Strong relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork   Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to de-tail   Passion for delivering high-quality service and experiences to diverse stakeholders across cultures and functions Submission Requirements: Resume The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $115,000.00.
