Local Candidates Only: We are seeking candidates who currently live within a reasonable commuting distance of Santa Monica and have prior Service Manager experience in an automotive dealership. Applicants who are out of state or outside the local area will not be considered.

Responsibilities

The Service Manager oversees the efficient operation of the dealership's service department, focusing on customer satisfaction. They manage departmental productivity, costs, client retention, employee relations, sales goals, and service records. The role includes ensuring customer experiences meet or exceed the manufacturer's satisfaction index, improving customer satisfaction, building relationships, fostering a positive work environment, and managing department assets.

Lead teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Strong communication and customer service skills
Skilled in service department operations and financial management
Proven high CSI performance
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Required: 3+ years of Service Manager experience in an automotive dealership, import brands preferred
Required: Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Santa Monica. Applicants who are out of state or outside the local area will not be considered.
Track record of long-term commitment in previous roles
Experience with CDK is a plus.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Compensation

The estimated annual earnings for this position are $132,000.00 - $200,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, etc.
Employees in this position will receive a base salary of approximately $6,000.00 per month, plus commissions and bonuses based on performance.

Please keep in mind that this range may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
