Role Overview:

The Resource Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the effective allocation of creative, production, and freelance talent across projects within the studio. Working closely with Creative Directors, Design Directors, and project leads, this role is responsible for balancing workloads, forecasting resource needs, and ensuring projects are staffed with the right skills at the right time. With a strong understanding of both design and production workflows, the Resource Manager helps optimise team efficiency while maintaining the high creative standards expected within a global branding consultancy.

In addition to managing internal resources, the role involves building and maintaining a strong network of freelance talent across design, digital, and production disciplines. A background in production within a design or branding agency is essential, enabling the Resource Manager to understand timelines, technical requirements, and delivery constraints across different project types. This role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and within budget.

What you’ll do:

 Manage various project aspects such as scope, risk, schedule, budget, and communications from both personal and management perspectives.
 Build relationships with freelancers ensuring we have a diverse pool of creative talent including production and digital. Work with ECDs, Creative Directors and Design Directors to identify gaps in our skill set, and recruit and develop people in line with our needs.
 Monitor budget spending to ensure it stays within agreed limits. Ensure that statements of work are written and delivered with the necessary thoroughness and risk mitigation.
 Manage the admin for creative freelancers – issue service agreements, set up timesheet user access and raise POs in line with SOX and company requirements.
 Ensuring extensive knowledge of various Landor studios core competencies and integral for promoting cross-selling of services where appropriate.
 
What you’ll need:
 
 Strong project management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines, and understand Brand- Retail design.
 Previous experience successfully managing client projects, Preferably working on FMCG or Food & Beverages.
 An ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally. Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clients independently and with confidence.
