LastPass is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager:

As a Project Manager in Privacy Operations and Safety & Trust, you will oversee and coordinate projects related to Privacy Operations and Safety & Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a solid understanding of privacy, safety, and security concerns, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Who will you work with?

As a Project Manager for Privacy Operations and Safety & Trust at LastPass, you will collaborate with a diverse and talented cross-functional team dedicated to ensuring the security and trustworthiness of our software products. Your interactions will span across various departments, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, including Privacy Operations, Safety & Trust, Engineering, Security and Compliance, Product and UX teams, as well as Executive Leadership in Hungary, Portugal, and the United States.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive plans outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, tasks, and resource requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria. Work closely with stakeholders and leadership to set project priorities.
  • Work closely with the team to monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed to maintain the project schedule.
  • Execute projects within scope, on time, and within budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Privacy Operations and Safety & Trust teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination among team members, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment, manage scope requirements, and address expectations. Respond to concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify internal and external dependencies and constraints that may impact project delivery. Track and review these with cross-functional teams to communicate clear commitments and deliverables. Escalate issues early and work with teams to resolve them quickly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Document lessons learned for continuous process improvement and implement project management best practices.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor, address, and resolve risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Implement proactive measures to address challenges and ensure project success.

Compliance and Regulation

  • Stay informed about relevant privacy and safety regulations.
  • Ensure project compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders, team members, executives, and external partners. Provide regular project status updates through written reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Act as a point of contact for any privacy or safety-related concerns.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Cross-functional project management experience, ideally in a SaaS company, with working knowledge of the product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (We use Monday.com & Jira).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish credibility and adapt communication style based on the audience (executives, technical/non-technical team members).
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of industry best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.

It's great, but not required:

  • Experience with privacy tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of online safety and trust mechanisms.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience working with global teams.
