About this position:
Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Senior Copywriter will lead copy strategy and execution across Later's marketing initiatives, driving brand awareness and conversion through compelling, strategic copywriting. Partnering with our Creative team, you alongside another Senior Copywriter will support all copywriting needs at Later, creating conversion-focused messaging that resonates with our enterprise B2C brand and agency audiences. This role requires a critical thinker with deep expertise in multi-channel copywriting and proven experience driving measurable results through creative content in the social media and influencer marketing space.
What you'll be doing:
Creative Leadership & Content Strategy
- Develop compelling, conversion-focused copy for multi-channel campaigns including email, landing pages, ad copy, social content, and product marketing materials—from conception to completion
- Partner with our SEO team to apply SEO best practices across applicable messaging while maintaining brand voice and consistency
- Collaborate with designers, product marketers, demand generation team, and cross-functional partners to create integrated campaigns
- Edit and refine copy for grammar and accuracy, clarity, tone, and alignment with project objectives
Brand Voice & Product Expertise
- Master and consistently apply Later's brand voice, style guide, and messaging frameworks across all copy
- Develop deep product knowledge across Later's entire software platform and service offerings, staying current on feature launches and updates
- Ensure all copy accurately represents product capabilities and value propositions for enterprise audiences
- Contribute to the evolution and refinement of Later's brand identity and messaging strategy
Strategic Project Management
- Interpret creative briefs to understand project requirements and deliver copy that meets objectives and deadlines
- Manage multiple copy projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to maintain quality and timeline adherence
- Partner with SEO team to incorporate keyword strategy and optimization tactics that maximize performance
- Present copy concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining strategic direction
Performance Optimization & Analysis
- Use data and analytics to evaluate copy performance and make informed optimization decisions
- Design A/B tests on copy variations to improve conversion rates and engagement
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to identify successful messaging and areas for improvement
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging copywriting best practices
Process Innovation & Efficiency
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance copy processes and workflow efficiency
- Contribute to the development of copy templates, guidelines, and best practices for the broader team
- Identify creative inspiration from industry leaders and innovative brands across key verticals, including retail and ecommerce, fashion and beauty, food and beverage
- Actively brainstorm new approaches to bring Later's brand voice to life across channels

- 6+ years of proven experience as a copywriter with focus on conversion-driven content
- Demonstrated experience owning large-scale, multi-channel copy projects from strategy through execution
- Deep understanding of marketing funnel dynamics and experience writing copy that drives customer conversion
- Strong SEO knowledge with ability to balance keyword optimization with brand voice
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with experience using collaborative tools like Asana and Notion
- Portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and measurable results
- Experience and comfort operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Background in B2B SaaS, marketing technology, or agency environments strongly preferred
- Passion for social media, influencer marketing, and the creator economy

Our approach to compensation:
We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.
Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.
To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.
Additionally, all permanent team members are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
Salary Range:
$110,000-130,000 USD
*Co-op team members, independent contractors, and freelancers are not eligible for company benefits.
