About this position:
Reporting to the Later CFO, the VP, Finance will lead a Strategic Finance and FP&A organization that is a strategic thought partner to the business. You will provide strategic decision making support to our business leaders and maintain strong processes and operating oversight. You will lead data-driven analysis critical to optimizing Sales, Marketing, Product, Services and tech resource allocation and to effectively balance the overall organization’s high-growth trajectory with desired operational leverage. This is a highly visible role where you will prepare presentations and provide strategic advice and support for our Executive team, including the CEO, CFO and BOD.
What you'll be doing:
Strategy
- Be a strategic partner and key advisor to the Executive team on developing and implementing a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with company goals and pre-IPO readiness
- Act as a key advisor to the Executive team on financial matters, including valuation and market positioning
- Collaborate with the executive team to define business priorities and growth opportunities
- Foster partnerships with sales, marketing, product, services, and tech to improve unit economics, reduce acquisition/servicing costs, and optimize competitive positioning
Technical/ Execution
- Lead annual operating planning, quarterly and monthly forecasting, and analysis of actuals vs. plan/forecast/prior periods
- Implement financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Planful, Anaplan)
- Prepare management reporting and dashboards; analyze performance, assess risk, and communicate insights to leadership
- Partner with data and analytics on dashboard creation, management, and execution
- Work closely with accounting to improve finance org efficiency and visibility into key financial metrics
Team / Collaboration
- Manage and scale the Strategic Finance and FP&A organization (people, processes, systems)
- Foster cross-functional partnerships across sales, marketing, product, services, tech, and data teams
- Work closely with accounting to enhance collaboration and financial insight sharing
Research/Best Practices
- Implement and optimize financial planning tools and systems aligned with industry best practices
- Continuously improve financial processes, reporting, and analytics capabilities to align with leading practices and pre-IPO standards
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business is required, MBA preferred
- 10 years progressively responsible finance experience, of which a minimum of 4 years must be in the SaaS industry and a minimum 5 years in a leadership position managing teams
- Experience in both growth-stage and public companies required
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing operational & financial data to deliver strategic insights
- Experience in financing, public company readiness and M&A transactions
- Technology and systems forward thinker with Netsuite, Salesforce & Adaptive Insights (or similar) experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability in building relationships across the organization and drive cross-functional results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to partner and influence senior leadership stakeholders. Capable of communicating complex financial information in an easy to understand format. Able to interact comfortably and drive alignment with the executive management team
- Strong leader with demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, grow and develop team members and stay flexible through growth and change

Our approach to compensation:
We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.
Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.
To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.
Additionally, all permanent team members are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
Salary Range:
$ 260-290k
*Co-op team members, independent contractors, and freelancers are not eligible for company benefits.
