A little about the position:

Job Summary

The National Sales Manager – Radiant Pools (NSM) is responsible for managing a team of Territory Sales Managers (TSM that are accountable for managing existing Radiant Direct dealers as we as new Radiant dealer acquisition, increasing the overall sales of Radiant pools and the successful implementation and adoption of Radiant branding, Marketing and Sales programs.

Some of What You Will Do:

  1. Sales leadership:
    1. Drive a high-performance culture built on accountability
    2. Hire, train, develop, coach and lead a team that achieves the desired business results/targets
    1. Manage the sales planning process and establish market share and volume goals with each team member
    2. Collaborate with RSDs, and TSM’s to assure alignment of sales efforts and coordination with Insulated Panel Sales thru Distribution
  1. Radiant growth and customer retention
    1. Responsible for overall Radiant sales and profitability targets in a defined geographical area
    1. Develop specific territorial/regional/customer growth strategy and action plans to achieve company goals; review regularly and adjust as necessary
    2. Report results in an effective and timely manner
  1. Partner with Marketing to coordinate, implement and monitor all branding and marketing activities and programs
  2. Work closely with the Channel Marketing team to identify opportunities (i.e. promotions, new products) and increase market share
  3. Monitor and report competitor activities and market trends and recommend strategies and tactics to proactively respond to changes in the market
  1. Serve as the commercial expert on all things Radiant
  2. Develop and direct all Radiant customer and employee education and training initiatives
  3. Represent Latham/Radiant and engage in all activities at trade shows, conferences, open houses, boot camps and other industry events as required; Partner with Marketing regarding insulated pools’ presence and prominence.
  4. Participate in Radiant SIOP process (sales demand forecasting)
  5. Manage the usage of Sugar CRM for memorializing customer information, touches, the sales opportunity pipeline (funnel) and pricing deviations/deals
  6. Work in a collaborative manner with all functions, including Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Human Resources
  7. Efficiently manage travel to maximize sales opportunities and employee development
  8. Work safely in all aspects of the position and follow corporate policies and guidelines, including while driving and visiting customers, job sites and company facilities. Ensure all Latham employees are knowledgeable and practice safe workplace habits. Promote a safety-first culture.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

  1. Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business management or a related field preferred or equivalent working knowledge and business experience will be considered.
  2. 5-7 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience selling recreational products in pool, construction, landscape or a similar industry.
  3. Financial management and marketing product management experience preferred
  4. Mechanical aptitude preferred
  5. Excellent written and verbal skills, coupled with strong interpersonal, customer relations, service and negotiating skills required.
  6. Experience successfully coaching, leading and developing employees
  7. Strong time-management and planning skills required, coupled with experience working well independently while being accountable to a larger team.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and remain an effective representative of the Company
  9. Proven experience successfully managing sales opportunities and other functions with a CRM tool.
  10. Able to travel up to 75%
  11. Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of the MS Office suite of products, and aptitude using mobile apps
  12. Physical: able to drive/sit for long periods of time; able to stand/bend and do light lifting (< 50 lbs.)

Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets.  Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

Bonus:  SIP TBD
