Senior Manager, Demand Generation

LearnUpon is looking for a Senior Manager, Demand Generation to join our team. This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days per week from LearnUpon's Dublin office.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Demand Generation to own and scale our global demand generation strategy. This role is responsible for driving marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue, ensuring that we reach and convert our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) through targeted, data-driven programs.

You will lead the end-to-end demand engine, working in close partnership with Sales and Business Development to optimize lead flow, improve conversion rates, and maximize marketing’s impact on revenue. You will also own Marketing Operations, ensuring our tools, data, and reporting infrastructure support scalable and efficient growth.

Leading a team of Demand Generation specialists, you will drive a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous optimization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that directly influences LearnUpon’s growth trajectory. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive measurable impact and fuel growth at an exciting time in LearnUpon’s journey.

What will I be doing?

  • Own the creation and execution of a global Demand Generation plan to accelerate growth in core markets and deliver against our marketing & sales targets.
  • Define strategy, execute, measure, and optimise our digital channels to ensure we are targeting the right audience, with the right messaging and content, and seeing positive ROI from our spend.
  • Own LearnUpon’s global demand generation strategy, ensuring campaigns engage our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to design and execute campaigns that deliver against total and segment-specific pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns across paid media, ABM, content syndication, email, webinars, and events, optimizing for conversion and ROI.
  • Align closely with SDR/BDR teams, refining lead handoff, sequencing, and follow-up to maximize pipeline impact.
  • Own, optimize, and manage LearnUpon’s marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless lead capture, lead lifecycle flows, data accuracy, and campaign execution workflows.
  • Leverage reporting and analytics to track performance, uncover insights, and inform demand generation strategy.
  • Optimize demand generation budget allocation, ensuring strategic investment across channels to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Expand Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies for high-value enterprise accounts.
  • Improve lead nurturing and retargeting strategies, using automation and intent data to accelerate deal progression.
  • Partner with Content & SEO teams to integrate organic growth strategies into demand generation.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing Demand Generation team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and career development.
  • Report on key demand gen and pipeline metrics to senior leadership, providing insights that influence strategy and budget decisions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously testing new strategies and technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

What skills do I need?                                                                                  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing. 
  • 5+ years in a B2B Digital Marketing role, preferably at a SaaS company.
  • Thorough understanding of the demand waterfall, and how to set and measure progress against goal attainment at each stage of the waterfall.
  • Track record of successful results and creative experimentation with program execution.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather business/user insights and apply learnings and drive meaningful action through data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Talent in writing, edit and proof compelling, persuasive campaign copy.
  • Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting.
  • Marketing Automation (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, etc.) and Salesforce expert.
  • Extremely organised and highly motivated.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing hyper growth environment.

Not required but considered a big plus

  • Experience in the LMS or Learning Tech industry.
  • Knowledge of intent data tools (e.g., 6sense, Bombora) for advanced targeting.
