
Warehouse/ Inventory Control Analyst Intern

Legend Biotech is seeking a Warehouse/ Inventory Control Analyst Intern as part of the Technical Operations team based in Somerset, NJ.
Role Overview
Legend Biotech USA Inc., have entered a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This innovative strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR T platform and investigational treatment.
The Warehouse & Inventory Control Intern will apply technical skills to the CAR-T warehouse by leveraging their proficiency in project management, data analytics, Lean Six Sigma, and process optimization to both lead and support projects and strategic corporate initiatives. This role aids in determining the most efficient ways to utilize people, machines, materials, information, etc. to provide process improvements in the current and future CAR-T warehouse environments
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis for warehouse and logistics operations to identify trends and opportunities for
- improvement.
- Validate data and create visual reports to effectively communicate key performance indicators to leadership.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and Inventory Control team to support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements that increase operational efficiency.
- Support warehousing projects and initiatives related to facility expansion and manufacturing capacity increases (capacity analysis, headcount forecasting, scheduling, data collection, etc.)
- Assist with data analysis and report preparation, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
- Organize and lead team-wide meetings with the warehouse and Inventory Control team.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Assist in development and implementation of perpetual inventory.
- Coordinates cycle counts as scheduled.
- Ensure the correct use of units of measure and maintain proper labeling on all products.
- Help with completing physical inventory as scheduled or as requested by management.
- Compiles reports and analysis of inventory control results and activities.
- Analyze inventory metrics and recommend improvements.
- Maintain and evaluate databases and reports to support inventory control analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Warehouse Supervisor and EWM Lead to support informed decision-making impacting warehouse and inventory control operations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a focused degree in Supply Chain or Business Management analytical field is required.
- Experience using data access tools, building visualizations using large datasets and multiple data sources, and deriving insights from large data sets (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Power Automate, etc.).
- Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving/analytical skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
