Contracts Manager
Location Requirements:
- Preferred: Charlotte, with an expectation to work in-office 2–3 days per week.
- Remote: Open to remote candidates; however, occasional travel to Charlotte may be required.
The Position
As LendingTree's Contracts Manager, you will be an addition to the legal department supporting contracts management, including the drafting and negotiating of contracts, and other related responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work daily with business teams to draft, negotiate and advise on a variety of contracts, including services, licensing, marketing, non-disclosure and other agreements.
- Provide redline recommendations, risk mitigation solutions and general contract advice.
- Drive the use of company standard terms and conditions where possible.
- Manage contracts workflow, handling contracts from intake to signature.
- Implement and recommend improvements of policies and template agreements.
- Assist in maintaining and running the contracts management system in an organized, current and searchable manner.
- Assist the legal and compliance teams with other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree, and paralegal certificate or juris doctor preferred.
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- Have a deep understanding of all aspects of contract drafting, negotiation and administration, along with exceptional business insight and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience using contract management systems; experience using Salesforce is a plus.
- Have the ability to interact effectively across departments, and be able to work in a team environment.
- Organized, resourceful and flexible.
- Impeccable written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Take initiative and have the ability to work autonomously.
