
IQC Engineer Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Study new part NPI (model, timing, DBRFM, etc.)
- Develop test plan per DBRFM, part requirements and perform tests
- Establish part history card for new part
- Verify production readiness through production trial
- 1st incoming inspection, verify inspection plan
- Study incoming inspection standard, develop new starts for new parts
- Verify NCP contents and distribute to Material team and suppliers
- Review NCR reply and determine acceptable or additional action needed
- Track NCR response timing
- Ensure suppliers are responding by the NCR due date and take action if delayed
- Calculate supplier line defect PPM, lot NG rate and report to local suppliers
- Audit local suppliers including HSMS and Safety items. Track findings to completion
- Review time check procedures per drawing and standard
- Review time check results and confirm results are distributed in a timely manner
- Know first part approval standard and create test plans as requested
- Assign test plan and schedule inspector, review/approve results
- Study ECO standard workflow
- Support leads, inspectors to verify ECO changes on first part incoming inspection
- Support quarterly ECO audit
- Know supplier 4M process and approve part 4M requests
- Support 4M approval process through GQMS as required
- Know Production Part Inspection Standard
- Calculate, analyze production part lot NG rate
- Verify NCR contents and distribute to Material team and suppliers
- Monitor dashboard and investigate any red signal equipment
- Document issues and corrective action for top red signal issues
- Prepare and present IQC/SQA Quality Meeting material
- Study XRF reporting system XIM
- Study the important/safety parts weekly plan
- Study the ELT standard and test standard for each part
- Monitor the plan progress and clear any issues affecting the schedule
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Bachelor of Science degree
- 0-2+ years applicable experience in manufacturing quality or related industry
