In this role, you'll help define a vision through iterative design and delivery.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of transforming complex workflows into simple, clear customer journeys with user-friendly interfaces that seamlessly integrate with other workflows. You excel at identifying opportunities to deliver value and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to create exceptional customer experiences.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • Problem Solving: Own and lead full design cycles for features or a product area, comfortable reaching out for guidance when needed. Design holistic systems, flows and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly. Understanding of how to use design systems to best ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its improvement
  • Driving User-Centricity: Use research and data insights to inform design decisions. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to align on user needs, ensuring designs balance usability with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners and contribute positively to team culture. Be open to feedback and eager to learn from peers and senior designers.
  • Forward thinking: Contribute to the long-term product vision by identifying opportunities for re-invention that inspire and inform new, innovative modes of user experience.

What you need to bring:

  • At least 4 years of practical, in-house product, UX/UI design experience.
  • Foundational design-related education (such as a Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication), OR equivalent practical industry experience that demonstrates a strong design mindset.
  • Clear communication skills. You can explain design decisions and collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Solid visual design skills and attention to detail, with a drive to continuously refine craft
  • A curiosity to learn and adopt new tools, including how AI can enhance the user experience and improve your design process.
  • Experience designing interconnected, cross-platform experiences that span mobile and touch (e.g., iOS/Android) and desktop applications.
  • Demonstrated experience applying, evolving, and contributing to a design system, particularly with knowledge of mobile-first frameworks (e.g., React Native), to drive consistency across platforms.
  • An acute level of self-awareness and deep empathy - for both the customer and your team’s goals.
  • An understanding and ability to consider product strategy and vision. You don’t just care about “how it looks,” or “what we should design,” but “why are we designing this at all?”
  • Experience with an arsenal of tools such as Figma, Google Suite, JIRA, and other prototyping tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English for effective global collaboration, with spoken German skills considered a plus.
