Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

United States

About Lineage

Lineage is revolutionizing real estate investing by making generational wealth accessible to everyone. We provide a modern, all-in-one platform that helps investors, property managers, and partners succeed through hands-on education, asset management, and a real-time investment property marketplace. With over $1.5 billion in transactions, we’re simplifying rental property ownership and empowering everyday people to build long-term wealth—anytime, anywhere.

Position Overview

You've built the models. You've run the scenarios. You've sat in the room when the numbers told a story no one else could see. Now you're ready to own the entire financial planning process - not just support it.

As Senior FP&A Analyst at Lineage, you'll be the strategic finance partner shaping how we scale a proptech company making real estate investing accessible to everyday investors. We're projecting hockey stick growth while tripling our fully remote workforce—and you'll build the financial models and strategic insights that make it possible.

You'll own revenue modeling and unit economics, advise on sales compensation and capital planning, and surface financial chokepoints before they appear on any dashboard. Working directly with executive leadership, you'll translate complex analysis into audience-specific narratives that drive strategic decisions.

This role demands quantitative rigor and the ability to proactively identify risks and opportunities in unstructured data. It's a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity for someone ready to shape growth strategy at a mission-driven company helping everyday investors build generational wealth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Forecasting

  • Build, maintain, and own advanced financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making—including driver-based models of varying complexity with full understanding of outputs and downstream impacts
  • Navigate multiple systems to pull, clean, and analyze data

Revenue & Performance Analytics

  • Lead revenue and unit economics reporting, providing financial analysis support that translates performance into actionable insights and actively identifies opportunities and risks
  • Surface and investigate financial chokepoints—anticipate trends before they appear on a dashboard

Cross-Functional Partnership & Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships across the organization to ensure data accuracy and process alignment while providing a clear financial lens to key decisions and thought discussions
  • Partner with GTM, Sales, and Operational teams throughout Lineage's quarterly and strategic planning processes to develop relevant functional roadmaps, execution plans, and key metrics in service of measuring success vs. the company's short- and long-term financial and operational targets
  • Shape strategic decisions by providing financial perspective on investment priorities, resource allocation, and growth opportunities

Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Initiate, conduct, and translate detailed, unstructured analyses into clear, data-driven storylines and actionable insights for executive and cross-functional leadership
  • Consolidate inputs from across the business to prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for Board of Directors meetings and investor updates

Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects

  • Support capital planning and corporate development initiatives
  • Advise on and refine sales commission structures and incentive modeling
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing operational best practices across the finance function

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CFA, a plus)
  • At least four years of progressive FP&A experience in increasingly expansive roles with a track record of consistent success and development
  • Experience scaling finance operations during hypergrowth
  • Experience working closely with senior finance leadership, often managing key pieces of the planning process
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills—able to build driver-based models from scratch and pressure-test assumptions
  • Business-minded communicator who can translate complex financial analysis into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences and familiarity levels
  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and ability to work independently, perform and deliver under tight timelines in a demanding, dynamic, fast-paced remote environment
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all settings and situations
  • Familiarity with real estate, SaaS metrics, or high-growth startups

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
