
Business Development Internship - (BDR)

We're looking for a driven, curious, and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our sales and growth strategies by qualifying prospects, innovating our funnel and outreach strategies, and building pipeline. This is a hands-on internship where you’ll learn the fundamentals of B2B sales and have the opportunity to earn a full-time offer for next summer.
This role will focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of inbound initiatives to drive pipeline, including the responsibilities below
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn the full inbound business development motion by shadowing team members across different roles
- Engage directly with leads to build foundational sales skills and gain hands-on experience with outreach tools and cadences
- Observe team leadership to understand how performance is measured and how goals, quotas, and KPIs drive success
- Collaborate with marketing to learn how demand generation efforts feed the sales funnel
- Analyze the individual approaches and strengths of various BDRs to better understand what contributes to success in the role
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the BDR process based on your observations and data
- Work alongside the team to evaluate, refine, and implement selected improvements to the current business development playbook
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (rising junior or senior preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a growth mindset
- Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in sales, business development, or startups
- Prior experience in customer-facing or sales-related roles is a plus, but not required
