ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Senior BI Developer at LVT, you will be a strategic partner in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will lead the development of complex analytics, reporting, and data infrastructure, empowering executive leadership and operational teams with actionable insights. With 4+ years of experience, you will bring a deep understanding of data architecture, visualization, and business processes, serving as a key influencer in shaping our data strategy.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and spearhead initiatives that optimize data quality, automate reporting, and leverage advanced analytics techniques. Your expertise will directly impact strategic planning, operational efficiency, and business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Data Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and reports to support executive and operational decision-making.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize prescriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to uncover insights, forecast trends, and identify opportunities or risks.
- Data Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data warehouse architecture and ensure data integrity, quality, and security.
- Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement data governance standards, best practices, and documentation to ensure consistent, reliable data across the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, etc.) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Automation & Optimization: Write complex SQL queries & Python scripts to automate reporting processes, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop junior analysts, fostering a data-driven culture and elevating team capabilities.
- KPI Development & Monitoring: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights that inform strategic initiatives.
- Business Acumen: Leverage industry knowledge and organizational goals to align analytics efforts with business priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 4+ years in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Education: Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and automation.
- Extensive expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
- Analytical Skills & Business Acumen:
- Experience in developing predictive models and advanced analytics.
- A need to understand how every piece of the puzzle fits together, and the ability to ask and pry until you get the answers you need
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and statistical analysis capabilities.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and influence stakeholders.
