Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong Excel and Power BI expertise to transform business data into actionable insights. This role will support business leaders by building dashboards, analyzing operational trends, and improving visibility into key performance metrics.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets, with the ability to translate data into clear visualizations and insights that support decision-making.
This position sits at the mid-level of the analytics function, meaning the individual can independently manage analysis projects, build scalable dashboards, and partner with stakeholders to answer business questions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Build recurring and ad hoc reports to support business decision making
- Interpret large datasets and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
Dashboard Development (Power BI)
- Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards
- Build data models, relationships, and visualizations
- Optimize dashboard performance and usability
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability across reporting assets
Excel-Based Analytics
- Use advanced Excel techniques to manipulate and analyze datasets, including:
- Pivot tables and pivot charts
- Advanced formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.)
- Data cleaning and transformation
- Large dataset management
- Automate reporting workflows where possible
Data Integration & Management
- Work with multiple data sources to create unified datasets
- Maintain data integrity and documentation for reporting processes
- Collaborate with IT or data teams on data pipelines when needed
Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with operational leaders to define reporting requirements
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions
- Provide insights and recommendations that improve business performance
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required)
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI
- Experience working with relational data and data modeling
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Preferred:
- Experience with SQL or data querying
- Familiarity with Power Query or Power Pivot
- Experience integrating multiple data sources into Power BI
- Experience supporting operations, finance, or business performance reporting

$75,000 - $110,000 USD
