Position Summary:
The Sourcing Operations & Operations Redesign Director, will be responsible for supporting sourcing, procurement operations and reporting for our client, a major retailer located in Chesapeake, VA. Core responsibilities will include working closely with business stakeholders across multiple categories (including Distribution & Logistics, IT, Facilities, Marketing Print, Marketing Services, Store Development, FF&E, Packaging and Corporate Services), transactional and category reporting (spend, savings, lead times, supplier management), and acting as a conduit to our Shared Services Center. This role will report to the Account Lead, Indirect Sourcing, & Procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Set up central and localized ways of working that align with each brand.
- Reporting and Report Packs that can be tailored for each brand to develop priorities and pipeline. Manage those meeting cadences and actions.
- High number of stakeholders and need for excellence in our communication and approach.
- Build recurrent meeting schedule + governance + QBR’s with each brand and stakeholders. LSI positions itself as each brand’s procurement support.
- Gather contracts, invoices, spend and other data to successfully kickoff each new project; make sure COE/Project owners’ work is properly built out from the start.
- Define all new procurement and contracting processes across all brands including contracting process to cover two contract management systems (ours and theirs).
- Management of SharePoint content for easy access and clarity of preferred process for the COE.
- Ensure proper utilization of various Oxford specific processes (ex: 2 contracting systems, Portfolio project naming conventions to help with standardized reporting and other idiosyncrasies.
- Support contact / data gathering for OneMarket pricing module.
- Ad hoc operations requests.
- Support ad hoc procurement / sourcing requests.
- Light sourcing background preferred.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience required.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing & procurement of goods and services.
- Ability to operate independently as well as interact with vendors, and internal or client stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Keen ability to deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so.
- Ability to understand and manage complicated operational details and communicate this clearly based on audience (client and/or internal partners).
- Analytically adept with the ability to interpret complex data for informed decision-making and to assess results.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel/financial analysis and planning.
- Exposure to demand planning / forecasting.
- Proven ability to build relationships, work well with people in a constantly changing environment, and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels; Excellent client interfacing skills.
- Proven technical knowledge across some or all of the following retail procurement categories: Distribution & Logistics, IT, Facilities, Marketing Print, Marketing Services, Store Development, FF&E, Packaging and Corporate Services.
- Demonstrated success in managing vendors, negotiating, and managing high-value contracts.
- Previous experience in a services industry (e.g. professional consulting, BPO, outsourcing) is helpful.
- Exposure to or experience working with corporate teams at all levels from creative to C-Suite.
- Experience with e-sourcing software (Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa or other cloud-based systems) is a plus.
Travel: We welcome applications from candidates outside the immediate area. Please note that this role requires commitment to travel to the Chesapeake, VA office on a regular basis or as needed for team collaboration and business activities.

NOTE: The listed compensation range reflects the anticipated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and job-related factors, and may include additional benefits consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.
Pay Range
$125,000 - $185,000 USD
