Test Engineer, PWT

You Will:
- Create, maintain, and modify test programs for EV powertrain manufacturing.
- Design, fabricate, validate, and document test systems for electrical and electromechanical products.
- Modify testing equipment hardware and software to provide enhanced test coverage.
- Coordinate the deployment of firmware changes onto flashing stations within the manufacturing line.
- Work directly with test & design engineers to create test procedures for manufacturing End-Of-Line tests.
- Coordinate the calibration of test equipment hardware to ensure compliance.
- Investigate root cause of test failures and help to drive product improvement.
You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in testing of electrical or electromechanical devices, preferably in a production environment.
- Hands-on skills to design, build, and bring up test benches.
- Working knowledge of NI LabVIEW or Veristand.
- Experience troubleshooting high-voltage electrical test systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD electrical or equivalent schematic design/documentation software package.
- Experience in EV powertrain manufacturing is a plus.
- Automotive component/system testing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, UDS and TCP/IP, automotive ethernet.
- Experience with Vector CAN / Ethernet tools is a plus.
- Experience with lithium-ion batteries and power electronics is a plus.
- Experience working with NI or equivalent data acquisition hardware.
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields, MS preferred
