
Finance Intern
As a Finance Intern, you will support our European FP&A team in delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and process improvements. You’ll leverage advanced tools and automation to drive efficiency and insight, working closely with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenges. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, data analytics, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities will include, though not be limited to, the following:
- Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses using Excel, Power Query, and Tableau.
- Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the integration and optimization of financial systems and tools.
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Contribute ideas to strengthen our FP&A processes and digital capabilities.
- Help develop documentation, templates, and guides for financial workflows.
Skills & Qualifications:
Soft skills:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results.
- Creative thinker with a passion for technology and process improvement.
- Relevant experience will be considered a plus.
Hard skills:
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA for automation), Power Query (data transformation and visualization for dynamic reporting), and Tableau (building automated dashboards and integrating with SAP data); SAP (ability to extract and interpret actuals and forecast data).
- Automation expertise (VBA scripting, Tableau automation, and Power Query transformations), system integration (linking SAP data to BI tools and ensuring data consistency), financial acumen (understanding of P&L, gross margin, accruals, and forecasting concepts).
- Optional: familiarity with VBA concepts, SQL (querying large datasets from ERP or data warehouse), and prompt engineering is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
