
Sr. Supervisor Maintenance
We are seeking a Sr. Supervisor, Powertrain in our Casa Grande, AZ plant. The role will lead our Powertrain manufacturing team in achieving its Safety, People, Environment, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPI’s. The Associate Manager will report to the Maintenance Manager, Powertrain, and is responsible for production flow and inventory management. The Associate Manager will oversee supervisors and coordinate cross functional activities within Lucid.
You Will:
- Oversee Powertrain Maintenance: Manage the daily operations within the AMP-1 ensuring efficient workflow, minimize repairs, and adherence to quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead a team of supervisors and ensure they have support to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Calibrate with Manufacturing and Industrial engineers to develop standardized processes to ensure employees receive the most up to date and relevant training available. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, implementing best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Resource Planning: Ensure availability of necessary resources, such as equipment, tools, spare parts, and labor, for smooth operations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by conducting regular inspections, implementing quality control measures, and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of repair parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on daily activities, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and resource utilization. Maintain accurate documentation of training, and development.
- Recruiting: Develop and conduct boarding sessions for new salary and hourly technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You Bring:
- High school diploma (required); degree (preferred)
- 5+ years automotive manufacturing experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: skill sharing and training, organization, conflict management, manage relationships.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, peers, and colleagues, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations.
- Organizational and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow-up and attention to details. Adaptable to process multiple requests and deliver on commitments.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, peers, and colleagues, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient knowledge of smart devices (i.e., Smart phone, Tablet, laptop).
- A valid current driver's license in good standing.
