
Mechanical Engineer
• Design and develop low-voltage vehicle control boxes and define functional and performance specifications using established best practices (e.g. LVJB, OBC, DCDC, GWSW, fuse boxes, ECU, etc.).
• Design fixtures and rigs of EV battery models.
• Collaborate with supply chain and hardware/software engineers to ensure coherent design and timely release.
• Coordinate CAE, design, prototyping, and testing of components, including documentation of activities.
• Lead failure analyses and conduct experiments to propose design revisions and solutions.
• Oversee documentation, including BOM, assembly drawings, and design specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues from manufacturing and assembly plants.
Requirements:
• Familiarity with PCBA, casting, sheet metal, and injection molding part design.
• Experience with DFM, DFA, and prototyping techniques.
• Demonstrated understanding of design for relevant manufacturing processes.
• Strong proficiency with CATIA CAD Tool (preferred V6).
• Fluent in Mandarin and working level proficiency in English.
Preferred:
• Technical problem-solving abilities based on a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals.
• Strong written and spoken English, i.e. actively participate in English-speaking meetings.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
