
Event Manager Lead

We are seeking an energetic and hands-on Event Manager Lead to join our Phoenix-based team, focusing on community activations and Owner’s Club events. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating meaningful experiences that connect Lucid owners, fans, and the local community to the brand.
The Role
The Event Manager Lead – Community & Owner’s Club Activations will support the planning, execution, and on-site management of local and regional activations. This includes Lucid studio events, Owner’s Club experiences, and broader community engagements. The role is highly experiential, requiring travel, flexible hours, and a hands-on approach to producing events that delight customers and build brand advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Community & Owner Engagement
Assist in the design, strategy, and execution of community and Owner’s Club events and activations at Lucid studios and surrounding areas.
Execute location-specific experiential activations, community programs, and marketing tactics that authentically connect owners, fans, and local communities to Lucid.
Collaborate with the Owner’s Club team to incorporate owner-focused events into local strategies.
Support Owners Clubs, Regional leads, and handshake with studios.
Event Production & Management
Oversee on-site and off-site event execution, including coordinating logistics, staffing, guest lists, vendors, and partners.
Build and execute run-of-show for all events, including creating workback calendars and coordinating cross-functionally.
Transport participants and gear to event locations safely and efficiently, ensuring a high level of service and hospitality.
Collaborations & Local Networks
Identify and engage local partners, community leaders, content creators, artists, and organizations that align with Lucid’s brand and values to help increase awareness locally.
Build and maintain authentic relationships with local stakeholders to enhance community engagement and event impact.
Measurement & Insights
- Track and report metrics of success for activations, including engagement, referrals, demo drives, and overall owner satisfaction.
- Senior Manager Surface feedback from owners and community participants to Product, CX, and Marketing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail marketing, field marketing, community engagement, or event marketing with a highly experiential brand.
- At least 21 years of age and the ability to travel regularly (up to 70%), including driving to various worksites.
- Willingness to support events on nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (30lb), stand for long durations, and perform hands-on event production.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging in customer interactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build authentic relationships.
- Ability to understand and articulate concepts in the technology and automotive space.
- Resilient, resourceful, and able to problem-solve creatively under pressure.
- Highly organized, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for creating exceptional experiences that delight owners and communities.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in automotive or luxury brand marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM, POS, or event management software.
- Experience creating content from activations or events.
