
People Operations Specialist

As a People Operations Specialist, you will partner with the Associate Manager, People Operations to design and deliver an unparalleled employee experience while enabling exceptional business results. You will also partner with department leaders in managing and enhancing the employee onboarding experience, mastering employee communications, and ensuring HRIS integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional new hire onboarding experience
- Communicate with new hires prior to starting to ensure all new hire documents and onboarding preparation is complete
- Communicate with hiring managers, talent acquisition team, IT team, and People Operations leadership regarding upcoming new hires
- Partner with the Associate Manager, People Operations on all parts of the new hire onboarding process including HRIS system, background checks, I-9 compliance, and employee files maintenance, and onboarding surveys
- Assist with People Operations programs such as employee recognition, intern onboarding and offboarding, other programs as needed
- Assist in various People Operations compliance tasks in collaboration with People Operations leaders, legal, and Security
- Assist in managing internal employee resource article database, Zendesk
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 0 -1 years of People Operations/HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, and/or other related field
- Basic knowledge of sound HR processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience presenting information in a public speaking setting
- Experience in Excel (e.g. experience with vlookups and pivot tables)
- A love for creating beautiful, easy to understand presentations and documents
- An incredible level of attention to detail and organization
- Experience developing and fine-tuning processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Workday or other HRIS
- Experience working in high-tech or a high-growth environment
- Experience with onboarding employees outside of the US
